My wonderful girlfriend has brought me the "pornstar" of models This has to come with a NSFW WARNING and tissues are !! advised :shy:

1:12scale Sun Star 1960 Morris Mini Royal Mail Van
Attached File  IMG_4200.JPG   44.87K   11 downloads
it comes with 4 little chrome hubcaps to put onto the 4 little removable wheels which you take off using the little black tool kit your given with the model,
Attached File  IMG_4201.JPG   44.18K   6 downloads
The tool kit consists of a miniature Jack and wheel brace which allow you to jack the car up and unscrew the miniature wheel nuts on the fully set up hubs
Attached File  IMG_4202.JPG   33.61K   3 downloads
Each door is fully locking and opening and has sliding windows :-)
Attached File  IMG_4203.JPG   49.27K   3 downloads
This is where the beauty of the model really hits home its attenion to detail in the engine bay is beyond even the real things, im sure i could enter this into a concourse and possibly win >_< its got the whole works and has a little Morris plate on the top of the rocker cover there is also and bonnet stay to prop the bonnet open O_O it really is the creme dela creme
Attached File  IMG_4205.JPG   59.48K   11 downloads
The certificate with a large amount of history all over the sides of it with the certificate in the middle showing that this is number 407 of 999 worldwide
Attached File  IMG_4206.JPG   57.15K   4 downloads

Ashley :highfive:

i know what you mean the Owner at the local model shop always gets me to see his traveller for sale which is the 1:12 scale sun star but ive always declined as too much.

He goes by the terms id rather have 3 sun stars than millions of little models which is true because these are unbelievable but i just wouldn't justify spending that much on a model but love my girlfriend loads for it :-) made my day.

After cleaning and reboxing all my Ferrari F1 cars I have decided to get some of my Mini models out of hibernation. First up is my entire collection of plastic Galanite Minis from Sweden

Here's the green ones, note the one with red wheels
Posted Image

Next are the blue ones, with a slightly darker one at the front.
Posted Image

then there's the orange ones, again with one in a different shade at the front
Posted Image

and finally the red ones.
Posted Image

I still haven't got hold of a yellow version yet, and I have seen other Galanite models with blue wheels, so perhaps there are some out there?

Next is my collection of Dinky Austin Mini Countrymans and Morris Mini Travellers.

These were available in various colours, with red, blue and yellow interiors
Posted Image

The orange car has been detailed with a marker pen in the past. Unfortunately it will not come of without the paint coming off with it!

Posted Image

Austins came in blue with yellow or red seats normally,
Posted Image

Note the yellow seat version is a slightly different shade to the others, and the one at the back has no seats which have probably been lost as the base is loose.

Posted Image

and dayglow orange with red seats
Posted Image

Morris' came in the dayglow green with red seat, dark green with yellow seats
Posted Image

and cream with yellow, blue or red seats, the blue seat version is the rarest.
