1:12scale Sun Star 1960 Morris Mini Royal Mail Van

it comes with 4 little chrome hubcaps to put onto the 4 little removable wheels which you take off using the little black tool kit your given with the model,

The tool kit consists of a miniature Jack and wheel brace which allow you to jack the car up and unscrew the miniature wheel nuts on the fully set up hubs

Each door is fully locking and opening and has sliding windows

This is where the beauty of the model really hits home its attenion to detail in the engine bay is beyond even the real things, im sure i could enter this into a concourse and possibly win

The certificate with a large amount of history all over the sides of it with the certificate in the middle showing that this is number 407 of 999 worldwide

I really want one of those they are beautiful
but they are just too dear for me at the moment!
i know what you mean the Owner at the local model shop always gets me to see his traveller for sale which is the 1:12 scale sun star but ive always declined as too much.
He goes by the terms id rather have 3 sun stars than millions of little models which is true because these are unbelievable but i just wouldn't justify spending that much on a model but love my girlfriend loads for it

Here's the green ones, note the one with red wheels

Next are the blue ones, with a slightly darker one at the front.

then there's the orange ones, again with one in a different shade at the front

and finally the red ones.

I still haven't got hold of a yellow version yet, and I have seen other Galanite models with blue wheels, so perhaps there are some out there?

These were available in various colours, with red, blue and yellow interiors

The orange car has been detailed with a marker pen in the past. Unfortunately it will not come of without the paint coming off with it!

Austins came in blue with yellow or red seats normally,

Note the yellow seat version is a slightly different shade to the others, and the one at the back has no seats which have probably been lost as the base is loose.

and dayglow orange with red seats

Morris' came in the dayglow green with red seat, dark green with yellow seats

and cream with yellow, blue or red seats, the blue seat version is the rarest.
