The build is looking really good. Thank you for the mention :-)

Make sure you get plenty of pictures up, not of the alarm installation though ;)

I am looking forward to seeing how the work progresses.

Have you finished the welding on the scuttle as i can see daylight through it in this picture.

Before you think about fitting the dash or paint that scuttle flange needs to be sorted out plus a trail fit of the windscreen as well. You may need to trim the edges back. This happened to us with Project Erm so well worth doing.

Also you are not getting enough gas to your welds as well. They look brittle so you may have some issues with them.

Looking good. Deleting the wiring loom from the engine bay is the way forward. Something I plan to do with my red mini. If yours goes well I may come and get you to do mine haha. Keep at it anyway!

hi mate, mine is a 71' clubby estate in white, going to have a black roof, and black arches. I have a 1330cc engine, with a stage 3 head, 286 cam and full 1.5 rockers. it will be running 7 x 10" force special splits with hi-lo's. interior is just going to be corbra buckets with standard rear bench and centre speedo. But at the moment only got the engine in, rubbed down ready for respray, as all body work done, then the joy of putting it all back together.

Will upload some pics soon

Hi Mate,

Try and get some better flux cored welding wire and or turn up your heat.
I worry about the integrity and penetration of the welds.

Great effort so far and keep it up.
