battery is actually going behind drivers seat as Im running carbon fibre boot floor

now have some adjustable bottom arms and heavy duty adjustable tie bars to go on......time to get some negative camber on the go
ive also got some different spax front coilovers to go on to get the front end a bit more down as i cant get it low enough on the ones i have

Nice one mate all mine is adjustable but im not running coilovers. Hope it goes low enough lol

ive put different front coilovers on the car now and have it sitting roughly how i want it :)
just got to raise the back a little now, the front may come down a little bit though once intercooler, radiator, headlights, supercharger kit is on and windowscreen back in.
got about inch gap from tyre to arch

Always wondered this with front ends like yours, where the wheels are seen through from the engine bay - is it worth putting a plastic/rubber shield between them and the engine to prevent spray or road debris getting through to the block?

Roads round here have more than their fair share of mud/natural springs and I'd see myself dismantling the Mini every week to loose the engine bay muck is all heh Any insight appreciated chap.

well i never plan on taking the car out in the wet so that illimenates a lot of crap lol.
the car will only be coming out once every now and then on sunny days so i wont mind cleaning it each time.
i can see what you mean though i dont know how anyone who uses there car in rain and what not without inner wings as i wouldnt like to lol

expansion bottle mounted + got a new wiring loom now too.
will have ignition and power as of tomoz hopefully!

ive now had a custom expansion tank made from aluminium which is half the size of the big eye sore in the corner
im just waiting for the expansion tank to be finished off then ill get hoses made up and coolant system plumbed up.
ive also got a custom plenum on the way too.

na i havnt unfortanatly
its so close to being done now though, basicly ive got to get my fuel pump wired up and ignition with M/J wired up and she should fire up hopefully :)
got to get back boxes on still and coolant hoses made up + mount rad.
its all little bits and bobs left really.
shouldnt be long though :)
