what the hell has happened here? This was just a bit of a laugh. Most people on here appreciate the work that goes into each mini. And more importantly, if everyone liked the same stuff it would be a very boring place. No one likes every single thing they see.

You may perceive it as negative. I see it as you pissing on a bonfire. If you don't like the thread don't post.

Is that you being cross? .....Very impressive I sat up straight and took my elbows off the table O_O

Anyway back on topic, I dont really hate anything each to their own and all that :D

I hate MPi Coopers with Works conversions >_<. Just no need for it.

Mine has those :whistling:

Just bought some Mk2 clusters though so going to tint those black and put those on instead, I do agree with you though :D

Haha, oops >_< Smoked Mk2's in particular look good though. With Rat-look cars, I prefer subtlety. I've seen a few rat Minis that are just a little extreme...but I suppose I like everything to be subtle anyway. Also, I have a pathological dislike for stickers. Any stickers at all, even when they're not on cars  .

Not a fan of brightly coloured interiors with bucket seats that are far too big, but do like the Cobra classic style bucket seats.
I like loud exhausts like the fletcher, but have to be side exit for me. Twin and centre just look out of place IMO. Lots of things I like, but equally as much stuff I wouldn't dream of putting on my mini.

my personal dislike are bodykits (unless its an ERA ......in that case your stuck with it i'm afraid)
13" wheels.....(all they do is eat wheel bearings every 5 minutes) mini's were designed to use 10" wheels and drive much better on 10's

and anyone who says that the twin HS2 carbs on our mini 1100 special are not standard.............yes you are right.....they aren't..... but the ST plus packs were an option in the late 70's which included the twin carbs, modified cylinder head and performance exhaust...........and i have the relevant paperwork to prove it...............so shut up and get your facts straight!!...................... ;D

What a nice topic

Let's see:

super-wide arches
de-seaming
clear rear lights
"subaru blue" (and pretty much all other non-mini colours)
all steering wheels with a non classic aspect
body kits

oh, and centre exit DTM exhausts, not only to they look really stupid...and are far too big for a mini but they sound crap as well!

mini's with big bore rear section exhausts with a reducer down to a pea shooter front pipe!!......whats the point in that?..............

and non-A series engined mini's!

Show me an example of a mini that is ridiculously low, and what that constitutes?

I don't really want to single out individiuals but there is one bloke on here who has a car that catches on cats' eyes on the motorway. It's a really heavily modded blue car with huge 13s and I think it has two silver stripes down the middle. He has obviously put a lot of work into it and it is an impressive car but that is surely too low? If you have worry a lot about catching your car on stuff a lot, and I don't just mean cats' eyes, then it must be too low?

Just my opinion! I think yours looks good by the way, you don't often see a later car with no arches
