Anybody have one of these on their mini? Got a bit of money to spend, and I was looking to get a bit of a rumble on my Mini, worth a go?

something like this...

All I know is they make a right racket! And at 3" your probably going to loose power, youd be better off with a maniflow or RC40 exhaust I think there 1.75" side exit, and they sound lovely nice rumble as you drive then a roar! when you give it the beans.

to be honest, its upto you. RC40 or maniflow will obviously be better for performance but if all minis sound the same it would be boring!

If you want the cherry bomb noise, go for it. You can always flog it on ebay if you don't like it :)

I was originally opting for the RC40, Nice sound and pretty safe performance wise. Just hadn't heard much about these things and was wondering what everyone's opinion was.... If i see one going cheap on eBay I give it a go and see what it's like, let you all know. ( Probably getting an RC40 ;D )

Looks like it would make a noise alright! I couldn't risk it, for fear of ripping it off with the speed bumps around my way!

the loudest part of that exhaust is the people that see it laughing! Not to hate on it but it is a stupid size and doesn't do any good for your engine..

The 'cherry bomb' is intended as an additional silencer to quieten down the normal Maniflow silencer box. It's ideal for competition cars where the noise levels are measured and controlled and I use on on my Cooper 'S' to keep it quiet enough for rallying.
