The one shown is different to the uk build as it retains the entire door surround and also has roll over hoops inside the hood.
The hood is not a retractable version like the UK model and is snapped and fastened into place like a cheaper home-build cabrio conversion as they could not use a fully articulated frame due to the roll hoops.
All UK versions were replaced by BMW minis in mainland uk but there are still two in Ireland that get used. There were three but one was written off.
The last uk version to be used in Mainland was decommissioned two years ago and send to Ibiza to be used as a dj turntable.
There are some in france that are parked up in supermarkets full of redbull cans for promotional work that are made from mini 40's.
Great little cars, I have one and was looking to sell it but people on TMF/ebay don't seem to remember them that much and take-up was low.
I will be breaking this car as soon as I can get the time.

I will do my best to break the car asap but I have to listen to people until then so I guess I will have to make it clear that there is a slim chance still that it wont be broken and could be saved

The above crashed one is one from Ireland and not mine.

I am willing to sell whole or whats left at any time after I start breaking.
Shame to see such a rare and sought after car broken after having restored the metal work at great expense!
