ok this weekend we finished the engine loom connectors and constructed the fuse box/plate that hinges down for access.

hinged up. i will install some sort of retaining thingy to click it into place... this should make it compact, accessible and out the way of your feet.

been doing some fabricating, i need my flip front to fold up and out of the way... and to those who think they look suspiciously like mini tec flip front hinges well i did take some inspiration from them.

Duuudeeee... Your whole build has made me envious! The speed you're completing the work at, and to such high quality. Puts mine to shame!

Amazing build mate, do you have any drawings/measurements for those flip up front hinges so I could make some they look really tasty? How's it going with the flip front any pics yet.

Keep up the good work.

Got the flip front flipping today.

I welded a 50 by 30 x 3 aluminium beam which i rolled and bent into the contour of the bonnet so that it would sit nicley on top.
Attached File  miniflipfront.jpg   64.02K   21 downloads
I also attached 2 5mm strips of aluminium which were also welded to the main beam as added support for the GRP.
