please can you tell me what colour wire the from the key to the coil is

Check with the circuit diagram, but I'm sure it's white.
However, I've twice had a problem with the ignition circuit through these FIA Master Switches failing which cuts the engine. To overcome this I have fitted an 'ignition by-pass' circuit with a small rotary switch. This can be used in an emergency if the FIA ign. master fails during a special stage or test.

just looked in a Manuel and it is the white wire but how many amps are going through this wire as am going to replace it
