I'd play it safe and find someone with a solid straight bar You can tow it with, tow ropes are illegal. Make sure You take the battery off the mini though as if it is connected the police can do You for no insurance on the Mini as it could be started. With a straight bar for towing the car which is towing it is insured and the mini is classed as a trailer as no battery is connected. Obviously put the on tow sign on the back & the reg of the vehicle towing.Hi, I have had my eye on a mini on a drive for years, finally took the plunge and bought it.. If I get it rolling and get the brakes working, can I tow it about 1/4 a mile up the road ?
Thanks
