I took a my Mazda 3 sport there a couple of year ago for a service. The forgot to reattach the plastic sump cover and it got ripped off. I wrote them a letter explaining how annoyed I was and they refunded the whole service. £139! Fanks!

Kwik Fit have such a reputation for ripping people off and doing shoddy work, I'm amazed there are still people who go there.

My sister once took her fiesta there for one of their free brake checks. They told her that she needed new discs, pads, drums, shoes, and a couple of other things - total cost £500. She said no thanks, and took it to our local garage for a second opinion. They said it needed new brake pads, which they fitted for £50 but everything else was fine.

.. oh the irony of 'kwik' fit.

I have to use them at work (contract requierment) we call them Slow Fit as it is alway next day for mobile service - I do worry about them as they are fitting tyres to brand new & often very expensive wheels
