And he has collected brochure's etc for it. He even managed to track down the free tape that was given away if you test drove a Jet Black or Red Hot and the Sony Walkman you were given if you bought one.

Yes, they left the factory with Pirelli Cinturato CN54s but currently the Jet Black doesn't have them on. However, we are refurbishing the wheels and will have them fitted then.

We were fortunate and were given several sets of nearly new Pirelli Cinturato CN54s . I know there will be howls of you can't use them, the rubber will have deteriorated, they're not safe etc., but we have used them on our RSPs without any problems, we understand and accept the risks that come with older tyres. However, we don't race round in them!

You can use them for shows.
I had an old set too, the rubber is so hard that they're horrible in wet and can actually destroy themselves if pushed, so definately not safe, but they look great!

We do that, but the problem is that we have ended up with two sets of wheels and tyres for most of the Minis. It's got so bad that we've invested in tyre racking! Still, it does a great job :-)

All the interior was in brilliant condition. The seat and door cards look brand new. That's the reason their still in the car today, would be such a waste to let them waste away in a bag in my garage
