I think you are correct. My old van had a cast iron pump, which I had forgotten all about. The 1976 and 1984 were diecast, the first with a bypass hose, the second with a blank stump because it was A+. So 3 Minis, 3 different pumps.

In some ways the cast iron pump was better, because, if I remember correctly, the bearing and seal were replaceable, but I don't imagine that spares would still be available.
