Sunday is here, that means it is picture time!

 

I had planned to take a bunch of really nice shots but a carb problem means that it wouldn't start and I didn't want to push the car around to a better place for photo's.

this van is stunning, from start to finish the quality of the works been fantastic and the before and after shots what a difference, gives everyone some motivation as to what can be done when restoring their own given enough time and effort (and cash im sure lol)  im sure ill be seeing this in one of the magazines at some point in the near future eh?   lovely!

Cheers for the positive comments. Rear door is off as the paint was not right, waiting for a colour match to be mixed.

Carb problem should be solved, haven't been out for a ride to find out though.

Having a whole new top coat on the outside, could not get a paint match for the door and side. Really annoying, only done about 15 miles in 6 weeks.

The latest match they have done may as well be pink. Drove it for 30 minutes, nothing since and likely nothing for weeks again.

The Van has officially arrived - first show today at Uttoxeter.

 

 

Van was looking good after cleaning up the dirty radiator water.

 

 

The end result was 2nd in class for Pickups and Vans!

 

 

Really pleased, lots of hard work by my parents have helped make this possible - I now owe the old man a bottle of Southern Comfort :/

Congratulations. Had a good look at your van today, very impressive.

 

Hope mine looks half as good when its done - Mine's an '83 so probably can't get much more of an age gap.
