Smooth roof is lovely but it has been an awful lot of work to get a show standard finish. I just hope I can go for a drive soon, at the moment it has seemed so close but ultimately something keeps cropping up that needs to be sorted if it is going to be "perfect"

It is getting closer to being done, I have had my first drive in it (on the driveway) ... Losing a day though as my A3 has a problem with the cooling fan staying on all the time and killing the battery.
Loads of responses on the Audi/VW forums but nobody really answering the question.
Still bonnet and both doors are on, just a few trim bits, rubbers and a load of cleaning to go really.

Mines 100% going to be willow green (original colour) when I restore mine after seeing your photos. looks great.
