In the words of TOWIE "well jel!"
You sir have fouled my thread!
Update: Aiming for Gaydon, body is being rubbed down. Not far off, no pics as nothing interesting happening!

At the end of the day, a 53 year old Van that once had a hard life is going to have a lumpy bumpy Load bay. There has been an awful lot of work to get it as good as it currently is. It isn't perfect but I think that is an unrealistic expectation.
This is the (hopefully) final coat for the rear interior straight out of the gun. Haven't done any work of the finishing of the paint so it will only get better from here.

Great finish on the paint. Amazing what decent paint does to the overall feel of a car!

Another success story in the W Country and I've put a link to this on our club website for all to admire. Cheers.

this is the original colour of my van too :) I hope to restore mine to this colour one day!
rear van space floor looks great - mine looks like its been painted in hammerite or something - its awful! if it can be grinded back and look half as good as yours I will be over the moon!
keep up the posts.

Cheers all, engine is on the subframe, interior is cut out and ready for painting - it isn't far away really, just painting is the problem. With good weather forecast this week I hope it will be painted by Thursday.
Well would you believe it, we are managing a predicted deadline!
The roof still needs to be sprayed but the inside and the body is now being left to harden before the finishing and polishing is done. Obviously this post is useless without pics so here you go:
I have only attached the small image sizes there, if you go to the Flickr page then I have done the usual high quality uploads for viewing in big sizes.
