I may flat it all back and then chuck a final coat on it yet, that would really finish it off.

Good job! Good flat and polish in a few weeks will make it alot better finish .

(It hasn't!!)
I'm pretty happy with him, its a huge huge improvement on him, although there are areas that could be better, a flat and a polish will help.
My wife says I'm being too picky and it looks fine, which to the fair it does, I can just see every imperfection on him!

You've actually helped me make my mind up...
Seeing those 2 pictures side by side has convinced me to repaint as the colour is wrong!!
Its way too orange for bronze yellow.
I'll get the remainder of the paint tinted to the correct colour and chuck a couple of coats on him.
