Been looking at him today........never a good thing, I think I will paint him all over. The drivers door is a bit crappy, he came with a good spare so thats ok, The passengers has had a skin and its not brilliant. I'll make an effort to save it but won't be too upset if it ends up being binned.
A repaint will only cost me £100 in materials and the rest of the body isn't too bad. I think he does deserve it.
Budget is ...
£100 paint
£250 interior
£150 service and mechanics
Job done.
Will be finishing Stinky this weekend and then its time to start playing with him properly!!

After a bit of a proper look around I'm actually quite happy with him, he seems pretty good(surprise!!), sills and floors are ok and the rust is mostly surface!!
The main problem was the doors, they just had been badly skinned and didn't fit right. Luckily he came with a new drivers door so I removed the old one(after having to drill the bolts out). The 'new' one fitted much better so I prepped it and gave it a lick of primer filler.

I need to find a better passengers door now.
I then started to strip the chrome off an start to prep.

Welded up a small hole in the wing.

Beat out some roof dents

Found a ruck of filler in the bonnet

This needs a bit more work,,

Overall, not too bad at all.
