Are the combustion chambers 21.4cc then? Looks a nice head but I need 22.8cc.

Pretty tempted by this, something to make my little 1275 auto a bit more lively over the summer.
Just waiting on a rebate to enter my bank and I'll know if I can splash out.

Sawtry in Cambs, right? I'm in Basildon myself so not a huge journey, just a dull one :P

Manual engine isn't much use I'm afraid, for my sins I'm stuck with an auto (bit of a row with my legs a few years ago and we're not on talking terms).

But I'm hoping to make it fun to use over summer then plan something more grand for next year maybe. So the head could have potential, as I say soon as the rebat surfaces I'll know where I stand (so to speak).

Is it a whole engine minus head and ancilleries? ie, crank, pistons, etc

Is it standard bore?

IS the engine number still attached?

Hey Paul,

After a fairly lengthy chat with Andy at MLM yesterday I'm going to decline going with the cylinder head, we talked about various tuning options but his faith in the auto box was greatly lacking and not knowing better myself I'm going to defer to his opinion on not putting more power through it than I currently am.

Good luck with the sale, fella.

thats alright, its probably a wise choice not to push an auto box to much :proud:

I'm researching it further, there's a lot of confusion on the whole auto box issue. Mostly because there's so few of them and even fewer people wanting to up their power I imagine. If I can get a solid answer on if the later model boxes (ie. mine) are tougher then I might be on the look out again, but I'd rather not blow my car up just yet :P
