I agree, best thing is to learn to drive defensively, remember your small and vunerable but manoverable so your best being alert. I learnt to drive in Texas where you always feel small and vunerable.
Yep very vunerable especially when stationary!!!

If you look around for long enough then you can find the results of these tests as above, BMH may have more of these test results available if you contact them. The only thing is that the results are measured differently so they aren't comparable with Ncap results but Mini generally does better than other small cars like Metros, Novas and Fiestas as it has lots of compound curves in the bodywork which absorb energy well as they are hard to deform whereas the other small cars of the time were pretty flat in the panels.

Hey guys here is a full crash test of the mini they did at 3 different speeds :/ It's kind of worrying when they show the inside afterwards :/ But this was done in the early 60s so no NCAP rating
