So I recently told my mechanic I'd like to buy a scrap mini to learn how it goes together, try painting on it, pull parts when needed and even learn some welding if I ever can!!

He said there are six cars in a field nearby. Do as I want to them. So I go and take a look.




















































I know nothing about the year or anything. I plan to take some parts that I want but I still feel like they are going to waste.
Are they too far gone? How can I check? Is it worth finding shelter for them? Should I remove parts people might need? If so, which parts?

take them and sell 1 to me for a very cheap price they look far to good to just leave them, best thing would be to get them to new homes and take 1 and restore it yourself to learn everything and have a nice car at the end of it

You should definately take all of them and then find them homes so people can restore them and keep 1 or 2 for you to learn on

How much does it cost to export them to the UK?
I hear Japanese mot equivalents are very strict and this causees issues!

Buy them/acquire them legally. Rebuild all of them, bring all back to the UK (their proper home) and sell them all. By the time you get to number 6, you're welding and painting should be spot on.

But don't scrap them. Or we all come over there, and scrap you!

there loads better than mine and the rd one at the top is fairly new and a good spec....
