its simply if you want a webber then get one as your obviously not listening to anyone on here, just what ever you do Dont use a swan neck manifold, a hif 38 on a good manifold will make more power than a 40webber on a swan neck!

also to answer your other question a 45webber is better because it has bigger chokes therefore will flow more air through and has a greater power potential

My engine builder, southam mini and metro centre, really doesnt care about the weight of my wallet, and he knows i dont either... if he really suspected id gain from going to a 45 at its current state of tune, then well... it wouldnt be fitted because the cars apart haha, but id have one... of course theres more power potential in it... but why dont you just fit a 48 or a 50

Our 8.4 v10 Viper averages 11- 15 MPG and that has 600bhp.

So 15 mpg from a 100 bhp mini is bad in my book.

Who said it only had 100bhp and it depends on how many of the bhp you use and for how long. :P

In general terms, a twin-choke 40 DCOE is equivalent to twin SU HS4's. A 45DCOE is equivalent to twin HS6 SU's. That's assuming a good manifold, not one of those 'orrible swan-neck things.

most also give you a guessamate of fly wheel power, worked out from the losses as you slow the car down at the end of the run

most people look at this guessed fly wheel power as it makes them feel better
