I also bough Audi TT seats (mokasin nappa) and left it to my mechanic to build them in. He called me up saying there's no way he can fit them in, they're too big for a Mini (MY1991). I'm on a business trip right now so I haven't checked and seen it for myself - but I almost can't believe it. If you can fit the Ferrari and Rover seats in there, you should be able to fit the TT ones as well. They're not extra large...

Often it's not the overall size but the width where they meet the B pillar. That seems to be the problem area on most seats that don't fit.

The TT seats are fantastic!

The MK2 did come with some that were heated and eclectic adjust/memory and they bolt straight in. I have some in my MK1 tt.

The leather is also lovely and soft, they re-dye and refurbish very well.

I ended up with mazda mx5 seats with the speakers in headrest. Look really good and where much cheaper
