You'd like Max and Paddy then .....
Max the Grand Prix originally had 86bhp I think, but Paddy the JC Le Works was 90bhp and he is pokey!!
But got to be honest Gus has the most pull of all of them...hes an animal!!

Ha ha.....yeah, the JCG conversions are the 'daddy' i suppose of the Rover models. The 90bhp figures published in the literature are questionable according to various publication sources. Some models only achieved between 85 - 88 bhp i think! A desirable conversion/model none-the-less.

3 works editions......you do like'em!!! JC Le Works - Red leather seats to match that 'go faster' red bonnet badge?!
The 'grand prix' model has a low limited production number, correct?
Aye, the supercharged conversion is rated at 0-60 in under 7 seconds! It's canny bonkers!
Cheers

The Grand Prix (Mrs Max's) is one of 35 ever made by John and Mike Cooper, but technically the Le (Paddy) is rarer being one of 25 that got the works conversion. Both have the glove mounted plaques saying which number they are, and Gus is we think a 500 1/50 that got the works conversion......great little cars but slow compared to your beastie
Got to love em!

I couldn't recall the 'Grand Prix' production number. Yep, the supercharger makes it frighteningly fun!

The 'Cooper' stainless steel wheel centre badges are rare nowadays. I had some years ago and lost them!!
