Hello all,

I've had my mini for a few months now and i dont think its running right, i was told when i bought it it needed setting up properly so i want to get that done on a rolling road but not sure where to go.

I've done some digging and found a few that are literally minutes down the road from me but didnt know if anyone had dealt with them in the past or knew what they were about ?

R-Tech
Dyno-Dynamics
DynoDaze LTD.
John Wilcox competition engines.

apparently all 4 have rolling roads but i want someone who knows a thing or two about old cars. the top 3 just have info about re-mapping and loads of pictures of new vw and audi machines, but the bottom doesnt have a website. i want somebody who can run it and tell me for instance if I'm running the wrong carb needle and put a different one in and try it ? i dont want to be told that the carb needle is wrong, have to go and buy a different carb needle, re-book to go back and try and see if that works, then be told i need a different needle.

i will be making a few calls to them but just wondered if anybody had used them or similarly had used anyone else near to me in Nuneaton near Coventry.

thanks

Sam

They don have a rolling road, but there's a Place in tamworth called hopleys farm garage, and they did a great job tuning our beetle.. They also race minis so are bound to know a thing or two.. Might be worth a call just for a chat, or even advice on where to go

Try Southam Mini & Metro centre. They have a rolling road and deal with minis. They are very good.
