Standard Hayabusa Fuel Pump

does anyone know if the stock hayabusa fuel pump (not in tank one) sucks fuel or does the tank need to be higher than the pump or would the pump suck the fuel up around 8 inches above the base of the tank.

the base of my tank is at the same level as the fuel pump but the pipe has to run higher than the tank by around 3 inches to go over the axle. sorry guys this is for my anglia project. :shy:

I don't think the std Hayabusa fuel pump sucks at all. The inlet to the pump needs to be below the tank to prime. That is how mine is set up.

i will do a bench test on the fuel pump, gallon of fuel on the floor and the pump on the bench. i will let you know how i get on
