Interested to see how this one goes, looking to do something similar. Maybe a different cam. Ive got a 296 in my 998 at the moment and the things a rocket once you get used to it.

Any reason why I shouldn't put the same in my 1098??

Well coorect me if i am wrong but the 1098 is not a rpm maker, instead it has a high torque,,just give it a try...

Yeah typically a 1098 is a very low revving torquey engine..
The Idea of turbo'ing it is just an experiment to see if it works well! I've seen it done before, just with bigger T3 turbo's etc..
Thought a T2 might work better as it being small than a T3 would mean less lag.. getting you through the rev range quicker with lower actuation, into the power band (as previously stated the humble 1100 wont take much above 6000 rpm :P )
So yeah, Sorry I havent updated much.. currently prepping my Mini Shell to get it on the road for my 17th at the moment, after that then this will properly begin :thumbsup:

Diesels are not high revving, and there are plenty of turbo diesels knocking around

40tho skimmed 12g202 cylinder head. How much is that in millimeters? I'm from Denmark so i don't have any idea what 40tho is. :proud:

.040 is 1mm nearest damit.

use google!, it is very good at recalculating the fractions as well. for instance just type in 1 7/16 inch to mm =36.5125mm
