I agree i hate wasting new panels by only using half and always think on an a panel whats the point only doing Half

You could blend the whole panel in with a skim of filler to get that door to look right. I blended mine in to match. I use american hotrods stance that as long as its not over 1/8th of an inch thick, and prepered right it will last as long as the a panel.

how did you get the information about the day that the car was built?....i have been trying to find out the date of when our special was built but heritage said they didnt hold those records for cars built after 1972 (ish)
nice thread about the car......i would have kept it standard looking though, and i definetely would have not chucked the door cards away...... :ohno:

It says on my v5 it was built on the 1st of jan thats all i know i dont know what number it is.
