cheers mate but sadly this has gone now as i have started to flat it down and only had p1200 need to go to town and get some p2000 and some more compound but its on the car now! update in a few mins!

UPDATE

Right then got my parcel from minispares today containing the number plate panel, hinges and lamp so i got to work fitting them on to the lid. Bit of a fiddly job marking and checking were the hinges go but got there in the end.

Wiring for the new lamp was easy just took the wires out of the old lamp and changed the connectors.

Here are some pics i will take some when its light only took a few quickly its cold outside!



very pleased with the finished result but im not pleased with my rear panel as it has alot of filler along the bottom edge making the bootlid gap not even all the way around so i will be fixing that soon! + MK1 rear lights

well there are the pics but not in college until Tuesday now so cant finish it off never took a pic of the rust cleaned off was to eager to get it welded :)

Getting my rear light moved to the bottom during my restoration but keeping my bootlid the same. Anyone else done the same ?
