still not got the wheels fitted, think i'm going to wait till after the riv run to get them on. Went to see Julie on friday though and she's done an awesome job of making me some curtains for all the windows.
Different fabric inside and out with reflective thermal insulation in the middle of them to keep the heat out in the summer and the heat in in the winter :)

finally got round to fitting the wheels.
first proper outing this weekend at Gaydon, cba to take the mini to a static show when i'm only going for the piss up.





you know they're a good fit when you're going to have to space out the side door to clear the rims!

not much to update from the summer really other than finding the cause of my engine smoking and having to sort that out. turned out to be a truly knackered turbo, which emptied all the engine oil out the exhaust while we were off to wales for the weekend, 2 minutes later the bottom end gave up!

All back up and running better than ever now though after swapping the engine, fitted a new clutch at the same time and swapped out the injectors for bigger ones so should be up around 130bhp now, then 150bhp when i get it remapped :)

I got it for £1900 as the guy needed to get it out of London due to the LEZ that came in effect in January, plus he thought the gearbox was knackered but was just a stiff gear linkage!

It's a 2009 Trance X2, my first full sus and i love it. Fitted a nice new SLX crankset yesterday so hoping to get over the chase on it tonight without it creaking and griding anymore.

My Dad's just fitted an SLX on his, I've got an XT one on mine but they're pretty much the same I think bar weight. Cracking piece of kit.

I've been looking for a trance frame in medium for what seems like forever, they all seem to be really expensive or 46 years old . I need to get over to the chase agin too at some point

i had the uprated 2.5 tdi t4... best daily drive i ever owned. sorry to see her go. nice project here
