Nice project,what compressor are you using with your blaster?

not sure what size exactly its a big workshop one.

right guys been a long time since ive been on here, been up to my eyes in work!!! finally got round to doin some work on it
drag the pickup from down the end of the workshop and decided to sandblast the bulkhead

managed to get a bit more done today, welded in some extra bracing.

then got the floor pan out and did some more welding grinding to the repairs

going to finish grinding the welds off tomorrow(Yay!) then thats it till i get hold of a rear load bed
hopefully going to cambridge to have a look at a couple next weekend fingers crossed!!

Right got a little bit of an update, should be going to cambridge this weekend to pick up a loadbay skin from minishells (YAY!!)
but i thought in the meantime ill get on and make a blast cabinet.

the set up ive got in that is a syphon fed gun only cost bout 20 quid gunna see how it goes because ive also got a eastwood soda and media blasting tank i think that cost around about 150 quid

the tip in the syphon gun is what ever it came with you get the gun from machine mart.

right bit of an update managed to get over to see fred at minishells, and finally got my load bed floor!! so with that in mind we needed to clear some room so we could start laying out panels and start roughing out the fit of the loadbay to the floor pan.

so we did this:

with the pickup in half and stashed in a corner we started laying out the panels and starting the trail fit

we didnt manage to get the wheel arches, rear valance and h frame closing panels from fred so hoping to sort these out next week and then we can start getting everything lined up straight and welded together!

slight update this evening i set about making a jig for setting the height of the wheel arches on the new loadbed the jig was set up on our other pickup!
