Only thing that I'm not gonna do is the van side "pressings" as it's not as easy as I thought, so I'll paint them on in a slightly darker shade of the colour I'll paint it in once its all built up, I need to get the rear axle sorted next, then I can get the front steering sorted so the wheel base is as accurate as I can get, then I can build up the front end easier

More progress to report (phone battery died so couldnt get pics!) I've done the door frames now, and added some supports between the sides, it's taking shape now! I'll get some pics up tomorrow, can't wait till the shell is finished, can get some paint on it then! :D

This mini will never be accurate - those cardboard doors are far stronger than standard ones.

On a random note, this could always be converted to a ride on lawn mower, or better still you could sit from the comfort of your favourite chair and control it remotely.

Its gonna be fully remote control, so gonna be able to do that anyways, if I can get a camera linked up I can "drive it" myself from the driving seat :)

are you planning on making all the doors fully operational? and sliding windows at the front would be a nice touch, especially with the amount of detail youre putting in

just a though  :D

If I can I will be making all the windows, not sure about sliding though, probably fixed open sliding windows, I bought a sheet of lexan to play about with, gonna drill holes in the rear door windows to vent heat :)

Gonna make a start on the front bulkhead tomorrow, need to get some more box section too so I can make a start on the front steering and additional bracing across the floor area, and some more sheet metal to make the floors :)
