I think that TMF may just be helping you to avoid a sexual harassment case there Burnard. I wouldn't complain.

Also did I get the number correct? Do I get my brownie points? I hope so as I need them for my next badge.

1990 sports saloon
Low mileage, descent BHP and torque but extremely low MPG
heavy car but corners well, just been fitted with new tyres all round
1 lady owner
one thing i would mention though is the car has quite bad turbo lag and has trouble starting on cold mornings
offers around 1800
no tyre kickers please (it hurts)

1993 Special Edition
Extremely low mileage as is always garaged,
Lightweight and very fast on acceleration,
Needs alcoholic fluid for use (mainly weekends)
Quite quiet but never fails to put a smile on people's faces!
Self update-able using latest technology

Taxed, MOTd and ready to go!

This is funny! A very good thread! :D

Ok well, here we have...

A 1969 original model.
Excellent body work given age
Quiet runner, low milage however likes to be taken out.
Only ever one original owner
2 teenagers
One dog
Enjoys decent fuel, doesnt smoke.
Has no graphics.

(I think thats it...Im pretty ordinary really)

Here's my advert:

Rover Mini City 92

Regularly serviced, non smoker, 3 previous female owners. Lovely little car, nippy with loads of character.

On occasions that character is a bit of a sod, but for the best part she will take you from a to b with no issues what so ever. Comes with nods, winks and rambling stories from random passers by about a mini they had in a previous life :D

Actually...... I've changed my mind - she's not for sale :D

'Spares or Repairs'

Bad Points

Exhaust is blowing
Drinking too much 'fuel'
Signs of wear and tear
Slow to start
Needs an Engine rebuild
Hasnt been MOT'd for years
Interior could do with an overhaul

Good Points

Once started goes on and on and on ....
Surprsingly fast when warmed up
No rust ...just lots of filler
Leaks all over the drive O_O

Brilliant topic!

1993 sporty model, exterior in excellent condition though could do with a few cosmetic additions. Off white body with brown roof. Mileage average, interior reflects this. Survived relatively unscathed from two previous male owners - starts first time every time, even in the winter, and runs beautifully for as long as required. Smooth ride, excellent suspension. Fuel consumption not great for such a small car but well worth it for the entertainment value. Enjoys being looked after and performs best when kept garaged and serviced regularly. Flew through last MOT. Test drives welcome with valid insurance and decent references. Offers invited.

OK, here goes

1965 Classic, onetime warhorse, now more of a tired old nag

started off pale with dark brown roof which has thinly faded to grey!

Very temperamental, always starts with a kick though

trundles along well and occasionally veers to one side with a groaning sound

Bodywork has seen better days but has added bonus of a power bulge under bonnet

Looks slightly dated alongside newer models.

Somehow passes MOT every year but in need of new parts

First registered 1965

Still in daily use

The bodywork looks ok from a distance but the interior needs replacing

Engine is still pretty pokey but overheats quickly when worked hard

Smokes badly even though i've tried to fix it for years

Any reasonable offer considered

this thread needs some input from the newer members .... :D

You said it :D

Classic 1965 model built in the Flower Power era and still living the dream.  :w00t:

One lady owner for the last 20 years

Had a few serious scrapes along the way but bodywork has had some good repairs though the structural integrity is waning a bit.

Smokes a bit, the exhaust is prone to undiagnosed explosions every now and again.

Mostly reliable but groans a bit on cold starts.

Very light on fuel in the week but transforms into a gas-guzzler at the weekend.
