Imagine that you're writing an autotrader/ebay ad to describe yourself!!

Me

1973, fairly good condition. No serious clunks from the drive train, can struggle to start in the morning. Could do with some light restoration but perfectly serviceable. Lady owner for the last 15 years, very little use before that. Long tax and test.

lovely '94 British teenager

Been used and abused a bit in its life, but with only a few cosmetic scratches and running pretty well, this is sure to be a great bargain! Been in the family for 17 years now, but we'd like to upgrade to something a bit more modern and reliable.

The good points:

Tones of character- is sure to bring a smile to your face

the bad points:

pretty temperamental
costs a lot to run
some slight bodywork damage
could do with a little bit of TLC to get it running to full health

Hopefully this little gem will go to a loving home where he'll be cared for and looked after- a better life than we could give him, he rarely leaves the garage these days

Original 1991 model with all the features. Only a few lady owners from new. Selling on behalf of a friend who no longer needs it services.

Good Points:

Excellent exterior with no rust and is in A+ condition.
Always kept in great condition and is regularly waxed and polished.
Real eye catcher and turns many head when going past, especially the females.
Great pull to the engine, 1 Liners are its strong points.
Interior is very good, and has recently had an overhaul worth loads, receipts available on viewing.
Is regularly oiled on weekends with natural lubricant of the alcohol variety (The best) however when over oiled it can seem to wander off course and may stop unexpectedly.
Incredibly smooth and is a great ride, on road, or off.
All mechanical parts in great shape and recently greased ball joints.

Bad Points:
Has been taken on a few joyrides in the last 2 year in the night. Luckily the joy riders were all female and new how to take great care.
Gear knob can get incredibly hard at times. Not found root cause of this problem but usually happens when the exterior is stripped. Female viewers are welcome to recreate problem if needed.
Needs a hair cut (On the roof >_< )

Will only sell to a lady, 7+ /10, but offers will be looked at.

Price on application.

Advertised on other sites so I can pull advert at any time.

HAH.... I should really be doing uni work... oh well.

--------

A rare HB model last produced in 1990, poppy red in colour with decals. Both the exterior and interior upkeep is easily manageable with attention, it is not much of a ‘looker’ or an eye catching vehicle but what’s under the bonnet will surely surprise and give any owner a sense of pride! Smart little engine, quick off the mark though at times lags behind after a long day of use and can be difficult to start during the colder months.

A few slight modifications and radiator can get a little hot, needs regular servicing as with any other model. A little rough around the edges but highly reliable, economical and very smooth drive.

Used, can be a bit clunky and has had a few scrapes so in need of some serious TLC, wouldn’t need much time to restore to full condition and would be a rewarding project. Best kept in a warm garage overnight and loves a good runabout!

1988, A body thats has no marks, no scares to show..Its line, curves are suttle. Always maintained to keep it in the best condition as can be, with a colour thats hard to show itself off....Its running gear has been through very little but thats due to being very cautious with choosing others..., interior is kept clean and healthy and doesnt really let it get too dirty often..When it comes to the heart...

This where it has very complex spec...It has heart, no real miles on it, but again thats through not wanting to let many near, Not one to be underestimated, Its very picky about who comes near, Wont let anyone just drive it, But when right one comes along and understands how it works..It will run like silk, The warmth from its heart is something that you can just feel...., the kinda sound that will do what it can to put a smile on your face...Its always there to start, so reliable and wont let you down, looking for an owner to keep hold of it, to look after it, Because its a unique and seen to be bit different, As it just needs TLC and it will look after you...If can do that, then you have a keeper....

yeah, right!!

Anyway, my advert:

1977 Estate model, bodywork needs major overhaul. A good polish may work wonders though!

In need of a major service, should be classed as spares or repairs really. Was going to break for parts, but didn't know if it was worth the effort. One lady owner, comes with full service history :ermm: non-sunroof model, needs a re-wire as there's something not wired up right at the moment. Has started to crab a little,

Engine is OK, still has a good bit of poke when you want it. Suspension is smoooooth. There are some damp patches around the exhaust tunnel that have started to look a little crusty.

1992 Model: Almost 20 :(

Lovely little motor, very reliable and always starts on the button.
Loves a bit of a heavy driving session on the weekend!
Hard working car, never let me down.
Cheap to fix, keep happy and running, although appreciates a bit of love and attention every now and again.
Looking for a new owner after some bad experiences with unappreciative owners in the past, to travel the country and see the world :)
