Indeed they are. Can't believe we've only been back 4 days and we're already talking about the next run.
I've already got an answer from Camping Am Nurburgring and a note just saying they're glad we all enjoyed ourselves and they'll be happy to have us back for next year

This looks so awesome.
I'm desperately brainstorming how I could manage to get on it in 2013 or 2014.
Buying a car would be risky and hiring may be difficult. Still lots of time to think though lol.

I bought a car for my first run, a 1990 Scirocco off ebay for £500, didn't let me down at all. I only bought it as a back up for the Mini, but ended up needing it because I ended up with two passengers.

I suppose that is the other thing, a lot of the cars available will be quite cool and usually not available to me. The risky part is having to try sell it at the end, but then again at 500GBP you could afford to lose a few that renting would have cost too.
Oh the possibilities

Quite often some of the guys on the run have a spare seat - it's possible you could go a passenger with someone.

I bought a nova for £310 just for the run. Got there and back fine. Sold the alloys for £70 and have just sold the car for £400.
