My last mini was bought by someone exporting it to Asia and it now lives a pampered life in exotic climbs, an air conditioned garage and cheap but high quality bodywork restoration, a better life than I could provide.....Bring it back???? To what, Britsh winters, salt on the road, dodgy chav mods, thieving gets with a screwdriver and to a nation that not so long ago took to the Goverments scrappage scheme in exchange for their 30 pieces of silver and consigned hundreds of British classics to the scrap yard.....We are not worthy, leave it a nation with a passion for keeping cars going by any means and a love of British Classics says I.

oh, and I thought the programme was rubbish but I loved the car

Why has nobody started an E-Petition to lobby downing street over this?? :ohno:

.... I reckon the government are far more likely to take action on this, than they are for most of the ridiculous issues that people start an E-petition for!!!....oh and don't forget that David Cameron did appear in the episode of Top Gear in question, so he is actually partly responsible!!

The Mini, Jag and Rolls Royce have apparently all been shipped back to the UK and are to be displayed at the 'World of Top Gear' exhibition at Beaulieu so anyone attending the MCR 'Mini Cooper Day' later this year will be able to see what state they are in! :D

The link is only where the cars will be on show, you will have to buy or read the paper in WH Smith to check story as they don't put any current news on their website!

Looks like it's still taxed to me.

Edit:

Sorry, does look like it's Sorn'd, just checked on my details and it says the same.
