Sorry if I've missed it but are you on twin carbs?
Just wondering why you are using a chamber for the MAP
Nice to see this coming on. Got my loom all done now & bench tested with a small 12v battery. Mare getting the connection to work via USB but got there in the end. Picked up some nice blue 4mm silicone pipe today whilst I was out as well for the vacuum tube.
Regards
Steve

Im using a Weber 40 and from reading the installation guide on Autosportlabs HERE it recommends the use of a plenum chamber when you have separate runners.Hi Jack

There's an interesting forum post on there website where the guy used two different sized plenums (140cc and 60cc) and measured the response time etc.
Post Here
Unfortunately my plenum is smaller than is recommended on the forum linked above (miss measured before i ordered) but they are available in larger sizes so i can always change it at a later date.
Glad to hear your getting on ok with it all. I took a chance and fitted it before ive even tested it. Will find out when i crank it over if its all working ok.
Looking good :) whats the chamber for if you dont mind me asking
Its a Aluminium die cast box with a rubber seal to keep it air tight and a flanged lid to allow easy fitment.
It helps to balance out the vaccum to the MAP sensor in the megajolt to help gain an accurate reading. (Im pretty sure thats right)

Ive also got around to drilling and tapping the manifold to attach the pipes for the MAP sensor.
(just need to put some PTFE tape around the threads)
Im also going to try and get some quick release inlineconnectors so that if i need to remove my manifold i can do it easily.

Just a point you might find that the vr sensor will wobble about like that at higher rpm or on the road and give you problems.... Using that type of sensor The body of the sensor needs to be held in a tube to stop it moving about.
Just my experience.
Ahh i see, ill see how i get on. Might make up a tube with a flange to hold it steady if i have problems. Thanks for the info.

Have had mine with out a tube to secure the body of the Vr sensor for 6+ years and never had a problem.

I measured the internal dimensions this time and its 80cc. It doesn't have a seal with this one so will have to seal it up myself. Maybe make a gasket or just use silicon sealant.
I ordered it from Farnell. Part number is 1590AFL. More info HERE. Datasheet for dimensions HERE (157kb PDF)
I will be drilling and tapping the box soon so will put some pics up showing where im mounting it and everything when ive made some progress
