Hey, me again.

Right I'm hoping someone has a good resource in which they could tell me most of the colour options they had in 1971.

Looking at buying a project '71 morris clubman which needs painting, i can do all that fine but choosing what colour is hard, i would like a retro factory option but looking through the colour guide on here its hard to work out what was available when and whatnot.

Incidentally its a sort of yellow at the moment but dont really like that mustard colour and was swaying towards damask red.

Any advise appreciated :)

Thanks

Mustard colour could be harvest gold, that was used in 71.

I know teal blue was also used.

Do you have the Haynes mini resto book. It details the trim and colour ways in the back I think.

This might help, but not really date based.

well, browsing through the manual, it stops at from 1969 - but no worries, damask red was from sept 1969 according to this so i think i'm set! so if I get this project then it wont be long till its red! (need to pass my driving test too so i can drive it to college where i can spray it too! the joys of having a full paint shop and paint booth at college!) (anyone jealous)
