This is my Weber 40 setup taken off the head as you see it,sorry it has,nt been on the car for a while as my head is being modded and i plan to run a SU HIF44 on a minispares inlet with an MED stub stack and ITG filter setup.
The Weber was only thirsty when you started to get to 5/6500rpm but it really growls when opened up.
I have put it in the for sale section as i cannot see me using it again and i would think it would be more use on another vehicle as stuck on a shelf!!.
But MPG wise it did,nt seem that bad if you were steady away.
did this need bulkhead mods?

Yes, the mini had the bulkhead section cut out, i believe in the early days when a standard mini was converted to a rally spec car they cut the battery box out of the boot section and welded it into the bulkhead to accomodate a weber 40/45.
The battery box area was plated up and the battery was secured in a cradle in the boot.

Im inneed of one that will fit without mods, I'm not allowed to do bulkhead mods sadly
