Hey guys,
Somehow I managed to basically destroy both of my headlamps which im a bit devistated about and wanted to replace with yellow . Standard Lucas h4. I was wondering where I can buy tinted yellow h4 lamps and are there any legal things that get in the way? Cheers

You can buy yellow h4 bulbs which are perfectly legal for road use if e-marked. I have some myself. Im not sure on tinted lenses though.

What you should do is buy normal headlight replacements and then buy a film called Laminx, its a film which you put over your headlights and should be perfectly legal. If you do ever get tired of the yellow or get warned about them, you can easily pull it off

*Just read the reply above, excuse my response lol*

However, you get less light down the road with yellow bulbs or lenses. I can make things look a bit odd under certain conditions too.
The French used to have to have yellow lights. This was, I believe, a law placed on them by the occupying Germans in 1940 to define which vehicles were French.

You can get yellow h4 caps that go over normal bulbs.

http://www.ebay.co.u...8b#ht_500wt_971

You can then put those over any h4 bulb so you dont need to buy yellow bulbs.

Yea they just make your light shine yellow. They also give you headlight a cool yellow tinge. I'll get a pic of my golf headlights later.

I do know why, but why on earth would you want to? :D

Mini headlights are bad enough as it is, without decreasing the light output even more with tinting, :D
