Think you can, depends on steering axis offset.
I'm more intrigued by where you are going to put the pedals - one each side & a trained copilot?

Bit late to ask but why didnt you just mount the engine in the rear?
you would of had more room in the front then
Where would the driver and passenger sit? surely you can see how long the engine is, even without the gearbox
Cheers

Mmmm, can you just swap the swivel hubs side to side? Moot point anyway, you can't steer when you're doing a wheelie!

You can do whatever you want if you are building your own car!!

Ok since I don't have my engine yet, these are pics of a 1jz which has the same gearbox and manifold set up that I am going to use!:)
it looks the same length as the mini!
A few pics which i might borrow a few ideas from that i have found on an epic build thread on this, Im sure someone will recognize the pics!:)
Since the bell housing is going to be so large I am going to have to build something along these lines...
That's it for now will update again when I get my engine, sometime next week!
Hey There......
No problem using the images or using my ideas for a bit of inspiration but do please give me a credit and a link in your thread.... Its only fair...

With your holesaw problem, one of the issues may well be that you are using standard pitch saws for notching tube, when really you need to use fine pitch holesaws. You can buy these from stakesys metalwork here in England (www.stakesys.co.uk). They are not much different in price than a standard holesaw but do give a better cut and last for ages if you take your time...

So a LHD Mini rack fliped over and in front of the wheels will have the pinion on the right side of the car and steer corectly.

Any way this is all iv done since the last update,
Decided to get cracking on the rear of the chassis and im going to try and make it as heavy as possible.

And this is where it is going to go.

Welded in, after alot of fidgeting.

its not exactly going to be a spacious car!

Be back again soon.
