quite simple its an 1100 special with the vinyl roof well,this is what could happened....in the Netherlands the weather is just like England rain,underneath the vinyl, steel is going to get rusty and after a few years bye bye roof,so then you need to replace the roofpanel,but.... the easy way is unfortunate done just place a another panel on the existing one,fill it and spray it and it looks nice then sell it :angry:

yeh its the same as my mini i put a fiberglass roof panel on mine due to the kids jumping over it. just a quick fix i wished i would of put a new steel one in but money and knowing what to do at the time was much harder and now its clearer on knowing what to do. but its my mini i am happy with it if i do selll it i will tell them what has been done. cheers tom

well its very hard to replace it with a original steel roof panel ,true it can be done but almost impossible for that you need to be an artist

needed to be a artist for my roof would off needed 10 tubs of filler and filler is a big no no if you can help it.

little update got sump guard and exhaust back from powdercoaters and i just tryed my roof rack before going to powdercoaters

yes mate all sorted got there in the end lol just need to find the right style of wood they use and get some fitted and job sorted hopefully i can get enuf fags and booz on top on the way back lol
