as once you file it down theres no going back

Yeah thats why i thought id leave it & ask everyones/your opinion first.

I think it makes it look better as a "one piece" design but we need peoples opinions.
I shall get some more desition making photos up soon

Honestly if it was me Tom I'd fill the holes with weld and a skim of filler and re paint. If you don't want to do that then I recon its an exceptable fix

The only thing I would add, is thre enough room under the lamp to have about 15mm of material showing, because if you do you've got the opportunity to get it engraved with something like built by Tom 2013 or whatever

Just don't want you to miss a trick

hi trac rally 515 has made me one now aslong as it looks acceptable and covers the holes it will do me i am not to fussed about having my name underneath i can get a sticker made up and put it in one of the windows good idea tho. if you go onto styling you should see tom need your help if you click on that you can see where rally515 has made it whats your thoughts? cheers tom

One question tho rally, how are you polishing it? Are you using wet and dry and then autosol? Sorry I know nothing about polishing metal, only paint I'm afraid is it the same?

YEAHYA finaly a opinion on this ha ha.
Just some light grit w&d with a load of elbow grease thanks trac.

today i have received gloss black hose hit and electronic distributor here is some pictures

Polished up tom but theres some deep ass ridges that i just cant seem to get out without making it worse in my opinion.
I could go down to 800 grit w&d but dont know if i want to risk it .

Heres a few pics anyways (post polish up):

The camera made this look pretty shocking,you can see all the scratches dosent appear that bad in reality though just took it in the right light so you could see the surface defects.

You can see were i,ve circled theres a slope in the ally (reflection bends down into it).

Sanding with the wet and dry has brought this side out quite well in my opinion

Like i say i can give it a go if you like i'll have to get some 880's & fingers crossed it'll be ok.
I'll give you a update when im happy with it,if it brings them all out i'll clear coat it,make tne gasket & get a delivery price from down in town from the post office & pm you for your details.

Also in your last update ,how much were those heater pipes ? 80 odd quid minispares type maybe ?
