update today put fuel pipe on put brake pipe on and put front sub frame on but because im a idiot i forgot about steering rack goes on first i tryed to get it on but no chance so got to take subframe back off again o well next time i will remember this here are some pics anyway thanks tom

hi all can anyone tell me what rubber cone trumpet coilovers ect i will need to lower my mini and im also after a set of 10" wheels deep dish preferably anyone no off any going?? cheers tom

those wheels are mb racing split rims, fairly expensive but the tyres are cheaper then 13"s but you will need at least 7.9" disc brakes as 8.4s wont fit.

to lower your mini your going to need "at least" a set of hi los to replace the ally trumpets and a set of lowered height adjustable shocks. or go down the coilover route and you get rid of the trumpets cones and shocks

hi thank you for this so even tho im having 10" wheels im going to have to get 7.9" brakes and yes i have been looking at the hi low and im new to minis so how low do they go? do you have a hi low set in mind to use? also what is the cheapest way? thank you tom

as you had 12" wheels i would assume you had a 8.4" disc brake set up so to convert to 10" wheels you will need to change your brake setup. to either a 7.5" cooper s set up or a 7.9" set. have a look on minispares for there conversion kits.

also hilos will get you fairly low, low enough to rub the arches at least. im guessing you wont want to modify the rear arches so hilos will be fine for you. again minispares sell a very good kit for this.

in reality converting to 10" wheels isnt very cheap, but if you have a search on here you can use fiesta calipers to make it cheaper. its entirely up to you in the end. the price of wheels also comes into play aswell

thankyou i can now rest my mind now that ino the lowering set to get for my mini i will probably go for a disk conversion from mini spares or somewhere also on the rear i can use the original hubs for 10" wheels? and as for wheels definatley got to be a deep dish 10" wheel i am not having arches so will have to see how far they will stick out cheers tom

10's will be fine over the rear drums, its only the front you need to worry about, you may struggle to get dished 10's with no arches though but have a look around

progress today fetched brand new set off hi/lo g max kit/front sub frame mount/new knuckles and new bolts and dubily clips also stripped radius arms painted these to no pictures was to dark will get some tommorow also fitted radius arm brackets here are some pictures all comment welcome please thankyou
