( street tweaks )
hi this is the part i get to take over from tom for a little bit , a few weeks back tom asked me to respray his mini and reskin the two door so today i started work on the doors . so with the doors all striped now its clear to see were most of the work is needed, on the n/s door its just the skin and part of the lower frame to be repaired and replaced. on the o/s door new skin to be fitted but around the lower hing lots of rust and stuck screw ( so ideas here plzs ) trying not to damage the door frame to much i put lots of heat in to the screw then sprayed wd40 around the outside to cool that metal down faster in the hope of freeing it ( no good ) then uesing a impack driver on it all this did was dent the frame ( showen in pics ) so i think the only thing left to do is drill out the screw , but its sitting in wd40 over night so hopeing to strart cut off the door skins 2moza . there is all so a bit of welding around the one window frame as there is a crack in the metal.

toms give me two skin and ask me to fit them bit to be fair there is rust on the outsides of both , so i think its best as thay have been repaired beforeWayne use penetrating spay, works better than WD40, last piccie is the door that needs a new door-skin? get the skin of and spray from the inside you should see the screws end there.

so Tom gave you two skins for the doors, both of those have rust and need to be repaired first before putting them on the doors when getting rid of the ones on them first, if that is the case, when the skin is off the bad hinge door, use penetrating spray from the inside when the skin is off and drenche the 'stuck-screw' and try again after a few hours.Yes patience is required on that one.
