i've just been speaking to someone and they recommended u pol fantastic, anyone had any experience with it?
They're probably very similar, but by the looks of it on ebay, you might find it easier getting a smaller cheaper tin of p38 which is good unless you have big plans.
Edit: From what I've read, the two mentioned here need a hardener, but when my dad had some of another brand a few years ago I'm sure it was just a case of 'dont keep the tin open too long' and it air cured without needing to add anything to it over a few hours. Am I just remembering it wrong?

I had used P38 for years and years as it seemed to be the easier to purchase but now go to any decent paint shop and they will have a quite a range of products and not that expensive either.
Lead loading is an art and something i will be looking into to try myself. Watched it being done by a pro and the finish was amazing. This would be better for de seaming i think as it wont crack.

Have you considered lead loading to minimise the amount of filler?
Lead loading kit
lead loading has been on my mind for a while, i will probably give it a try for certain areas, but for ease of use (dare i say it) im gonna use filler for most of the areas, i will be purchasing a kit and see how i get on though

Upol fantastic for me as well. P38 tends to leave quite a few pin holes so needing a stopper or similar. Fantastic goes on nicely and is very easy to sand. Even the bodyshop that we used for Erm uses the Upol range of fillers and rates them highly.

yeah i had a quick look around and upol fantastic seems to be quite easy to get hold of now and not even that expensive, even if it cost more but done a better job i'd be willing to pay the extra for the finish
when watching project erm i expected to see some lead loading i must say, you seem to have every other skill down

Fantastic is very good!! doesnt pin hole anywhere near as much as say upol easy 1, theres loads of choice out there mate, but really depends on the job you need it for. but for the jobs u have put down, id go with fantastic!!!
fantastic is the one to go for it seems, and the route i will be taking
