i done a quote with co-op me main and mum named driver and got a quote of 918 today fully comp (with no black box) but when i requoted it it was 2200

foot man james didnt mention them changing there policy to me either but i rang again today and they still wont insure me because of the changes they have made

its anouying me because the car is sitting on my grandma's driveway and yet no company will insure me im to much of a risk

co-op young drivers seem to be the cheapest and insure2drive seem to be really expensive for so im not sure what to do now

Hi, i have a 1994 1275cc injection mayfair. i'm 17 but car is registered as my mam's and she has insured it as her second car on top of her existing policy and i'm a named driver along with my dad.
I know it's not ideal as i'm not building up no claims and technically car belongs to mam >_< but the insurance is only £1400 fully comp. :proud:
I'll change it when i'm 18/19 as the insurance cost won't be as much then.

I'm just happy to have Max on the road :D

Well, my mum uses it to go to the shops now and then and my dad uses it sometimes.
At the same time though, how can anyone argue with you that you drive it more, can't really be proved either way.

seriously not worth the bother to risk fronting, I've heard they'll go as fiar as to ask neighbours, your school/workplace etc., and then your insurance will be invalid when they do catch you.
