well was in two minds whether to re-laquer the lower body, but i decided to flat it off
and see what it looked like, so i flatted it and it's ok so i left it.
laquered the front end aswell this afternoon. after i laquered the front decided to have
a go at the at the rear end and attack it with some compound then a bit of polish
might compound the whole car by hand and not with a electric mop.
heres some pics

Hi all, not been on for a while, well this afternoon I have re-flatted the whole car
due to the lads in the paint shop at work saying that 1000 grit w&d was too course,
so I went over with 1200 grit then 2000grit. also had a job with the front end
due to the fact that when I laquered it the gun spat a few lumps of laquer out, had no
problems on the main shell ??? so this p****d me off just a bit. so I had to go up in
grades of grit to sort it out..
But all is sorted now... :goaway:
Borrowed the polishing/compound mop from work so hopefully will compound and polish
tomorrow as I have the day off. Yippeeeeee!!!!

Sounds like your getting there, I know how annoying it is with paint troubles, but on a smaller scale lol, and it really does annoy the sh*t out of me, but will look great in the end :goaway: .

40 miles in under 3 hours? Good gong sir! You should put that kind of effort into your builds too! :D
