whats the rust eater are you using?? is it any good.??

i using red oxide, but if this stuff is better then i'll give it a go!

Mad4minis i think it's Kur-rust it seems ok.

Been out this afto and sorted out the offside front wheel arch,
chop out and and stick a patch in.

cut out





fit patch (welded both sides)

Been out for a bit tonight, sorted out the n/s door step
and hinge panel, they didn't meet up so I had to
add some material to join them.

Cheers Dog, not as good as i'd like, don't look too bad though.

I'll have to take some pics of my welding at work it's a BIT
better , in an ideal enviroment.!

Got to do the other side aswell,

Done a bit more !!!!

wonders will never cease.

put a patch on the o/s door pillar / door step to join them
together and replaced the door hinge panel;

welded



dressed off



replace door hinge panel;



new panel





primed



n/s door hinge replaced

Had a couple of hours today in the garage, cut out and replaced the
of-side scuttle panel;

cut out old scuttle



clamp in new panel



weld and fettle



prime up

looks like a good job you are doing there all minis rust in the same place some more than others though!looking at these pics reminde me of the minis i have fixed inn the past! got my van to do next!
