Deary me, don't go bumping it on the road then if it cracks that easily. It'd break my heart to see it all cracked and ruined now so I don't want to try and empathise with how you'd feel!
Looks nice and evil .
i was a bit surprised as well! but i have a slight drop out of the
garage and the yard is slightlly sloped.. just caught the corner
of the engine, just in the wrong place!
all sorted now though

Glad it's sorted though.
You got anymore plans up your sleeve?

Oh so the arch sat on the top of the engine while the car was trying to go down a step and a slope? That'd be understandable, having the cars weight on the arch.
Glad it's sorted though.
You got anymore plans up your sleeve?
I rolled the car out of the garage and the arch caught the edge of the
plate behind the timing gear on the old engine which is covered
up next to a storage container , the garage base is raise about an inch
from the yard base and the yard base has a gradient to it, any clearer..

bottom of the front arch was a bit close to the wheel
as i have had to lower the arches as much as poss for the
right look!! so i have had to split them and re-shape them
re-glassed

on the way home from work on monday
the Corsa decided to pack up!!
found that the cam belt had stripped quite a
few teeth.,had today off work to have a look
at it, the cam turned freely so just fitted a new
belt,,,, just my look still wouldn't start, done
a compression test and only had good compression
on no4 cylinder. took the rocker cover off and found
that 3 of the rockers had 'SNAPPED' in half!!!
Removed the head and found 2 bent exhaust valves.
Off tomorrow to pick up some valves (£13 for 4 exhaust)
and 8 new rockers for £20 so not too bad...
No work on the little mini......
