A panel, and used some old spreaders too.
then opened front and glass matted on the inside,
closed again and allowed to cure.


lots off finishing to do but looks better

I'll be interested to see how you dress the outside of those cuts in your FG front, I'm making some FG speaker pods for my doors, no idea how I'm going to make them smooth.

Fiber filler eh, I've seen that, never used it though, shall have to get a pot when I've got my general shape sorted.i've used a sander to remove the gell coat and leave a rough surface, i've used
'Wurth' fibre filler (miles better than P40) to fill in the cuts and build up the
sanded area... then i'll fill with polyester filler..

Or, try mixing it half and half with normal poly filler like Easy Sand for example, makes it almost as strong but sands down alot easier and is easier to apply.
